10-Foot Crocodile Causes Panic in UP Town, Rescued After Attempted Climb

A ten-foot crocodile created a stir of panic in an Uttar Pradesh town as it emerged from the Ganga canal near Narora Ghat in Bulandshahr district. Videos captured by locals show the large reptile trying to climb over a railing near the canal, prompting authorities to intervene swiftly.

The sighting of the crocodile led to immediate action from both the police and forest department officials. As the officials arrived on the scene, the crocodile’s attempts to return to the water became increasingly frantic. Efforts to capture the reptile included covering its head with a cloth and securing its limbs to prevent any potential harm to the rescue team.

The situation intensified as the crocodile, unable to climb back into the canal, landed on the ground and attempted to flee. However, with the coordinated efforts of the rescue team, the crocodile was eventually restrained using ropes. Forest officials carefully tied its limbs and mouth to ensure a safe and controlled rescue operation.

After several hours of concerted efforts, the crocodile was successfully rescued and released back into the canal. The incident, although initially causing alarm among locals, ended on a positive note with no injuries reported.
