Mysterious Glowing Orbs Spotted by Canadian Couple: Possible UFO Sighting?

A Canadian couple experienced a stunning encounter with what they believe to be unidentified flying objects (UFOs) on May 14. Justin Stevenson and his wife, Danielle Daniels-Stevenson, were driving through Fort Alexander when they noticed two glowing orbs with yellow lights in the sky above the Winnipeg River’s north shore.

Describing the objects as “as bright as the sun,” the couple watched in amazement as the orbs flew south before disappearing behind a cloud. Stevenson, who has been skeptical of extraterrestrial life, captured the event on video, which he later shared on Facebook. In the footage, he can be heard exclaiming, “What the f*** is that? Yo, I think we’re seeing some aliens.”

The experience has significantly changed Stevenson’s perspective. “I was sceptical before I saw this but now this has given me the proof I need that there’s something out there other than humans,” he said, according to the NY Post.

The video has since garnered widespread attention, amassing over 650,000 views. Commenters have expressed a mix of awe and skepticism. One user wrote, “Oh my word, what is that?? Pretty scary it’s so close to home, yikes!” while another suggested it could be “a drone or a UFO.” Some viewers offered more down-to-earth explanations, such as one who claimed it was “swamp gas from a weather balloon trapped in a thermal pocket and refracted the light from Venus.”

This sighting adds to a growing number of UFO reports in Canada. In 2023 alone, at least 17 reports have been filed, with credible witnesses including pilots and crew members from airlines such as WestJet, Air France, and British Airways. In February, two airlines reported strange lights in the sky over Quebec, with one crew member describing the phenomenon as “a bit weird.” These sightings are documented in an online aviation incident database maintained by Transport Canada.
