Hajipur, Bihar – Dr. Bhaskar, a shining star in the medical fraternity of Bihar, has been making waves with his tireless efforts to provide quality healthcare to the rural underprivileged. Affectionately known as ‘Gaaon Ka Doctor,’ Dr. Bhaskar has been working selflessly since 2019, when he was still in medical school, to bring healthcare to the doorstep of those who need it most.
A native of Hajipur, Dr. Bhaskar’s mission is to make healthcare accessible to all, regardless of financial status. Every month, he runs a free medical camp in Vaishali, the birthplace of Lord Mahavira, at Paramhans School, providing free medical consultations, generic medicines, and sanitary napkins to rural girls and women.
Over the past 6 years, Dr. Bhaskar has conducted over 100 camps, treating 10,000+ patients and educating rural women on menstrual hygiene. His dedication and commitment to serving the underserved have earned him recognition and accolades from across the state. In 2023, he was honored as “Bihar Doctor Icon” by the Governor of Bihar, a testament to his selfless service.

Dr. Bhaskar’s ultimate goal is to open a free hospital in Bihar, where everyone can access quality healthcare. “I want to provide healthcare to all the underprivileged people who don’t have access to it,” he says passionately. “This is my way of giving back to society, and I’m grateful to my grandfather for inspiring me to do this noble work.”
