Huge Blaze Engulfs Restaurant in Rajouri Garden, 10 Fire Engines Rush to Scene

Massive Fire Breaks Out at Rajouri Garden Restaurant in Delhi, 10 Fire Engines Deployed

A massive fire broke out at Jungle Jamboree, a popular restaurant in the Rajouri Garden area of West Delhi, on Monday afternoon. The fire started around 2:01 pm, prompting immediate action from the Delhi Fire Services, which rushed 10 fire engines to the scene to control the blaze.

The cause of the fire remains unclear at this time, but thick black smoke quickly engulfed the area, causing panic among local shopkeepers and residents. The smoke was so intense that videos of the incident quickly went viral on social media, showing people scrambling to escape the flames. Over 20 people were present at the restaurant when the fire erupted, and several of them were seen jumping from the restaurant’s open seating area to a nearby building’s terrace to escape the inferno.

Ghanshyam Agarwal, a local shopkeeper, recalled witnessing the alarming scene: “We saw huge clouds of black smoke coming out of the Jungle Jamboree restaurant. We immediately informed the fire brigade and police. Some of the people inside jumped to save their lives.”

The fire caused widespread panic in the vicinity, with authorities quickly cordoning off the area to allow firefighting operations to proceed unhindered. The Delhi Fire Services shared footage of the incident showing large plumes of smoke rising from the building, making it evident that the blaze was spreading rapidly.

Local authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire while ensuring the safety of those in the area. The restaurant’s property, which is known for its theme-based decor and popular among locals, has suffered significant damage. Thankfully, no fatalities have been reported, but authorities are working to ensure that any remaining individuals are safely evacuated.

As of now, the situation is being closely monitored, and fire teams are continuing efforts to extinguish the fire completely. Further updates will be provided once the cause of the fire is determined and a detailed investigation is conducted.

The Delhi Fire Services chief, Atul Garg, confirmed that no casualties have been reported so far and assured that efforts to control the fire are ongoing. The quick response by the fire department was praised by local authorities as they continue to investigate the incident.

The fire serves as a reminder of the importance of fire safety measures, especially in crowded commercial areas. Local authorities have urged businesses to review and update their fire safety protocols to prevent such incidents in the future.
