    Intelligence Bureau Officer Dies on Railway Tracks in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala

    Intelligence Bureau Officer Found Dead on Railway Tracks in Kerala's Thiruvananthapuram

    A 24-year-old Intelligence Bureau (IB) officer, identified as Megha, was found dead on the railway tracks near Pettah railway station on Monday morning.

    According to Pettah police, Megha was a native of Koodal in Pathanamthitta district and had been staying as a paying guest near Pettah. Authorities suspect it to be a case of suicide.

    A train’s loco pilot reported witnessing a woman jumping onto the tracks, police said. Following the post-mortem, Megha’s body was handed over to her family.

    The Pettah police have launched an investigation into the incident to confirm the circumstances surrounding her death.
