“Madhya Pradesh Minister: BJP Doesn’t Want Kamal Nath, Reports”

Madhya Pradesh Minister Asserts BJP's Disinterest in Kamal Nath Amid Speculation Over Party Switch

Speculation swirls around the political future of senior Congress leader Kamal Nath amidst assertions from Madhya Pradesh minister Kailash Vijayvargiya, who firmly stated that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has no need for Nath, signaling closed doors for the former Chief Minister.

Vijayvargiya’s remarks come amid uncertainty over Nath’s next political move, fueled by reports of several local leaders from his stronghold in Madhya Pradesh’s Chhindwara district defecting to the BJP.

Addressing reporters, Vijayvargiya bluntly stated, “There is no need for Kamal Nath in our party, and that’s why its doors were closed for him.” His comments reflect the BJP’s apparent disinterest in welcoming Nath into its fold, despite ongoing speculation.

The political landscape has been rife with conjecture ever since Nath, along with his MP son Nakul Nath, journeyed to New Delhi last week. However, Nath’s confidant Sajjan Singh Verma refuted reports suggesting the veteran Congress leader’s potential switch to the BJP.

In a separate development, local leaders from Chhindwara district, a bastion of Nath’s political influence, made headlines by joining the BJP, further fueling intrigue surrounding Nath’s future political alignment.

Responding to queries about recent comments made by Congress leader Digvijaya Singh regarding the extradition of fugitive diamond merchant Nirav Modi, Vijayvargiya dismissed Singh’s remarks as a manifestation of frustration. He suggested that Singh and others like him are grappling with the realization of their diminishing political relevance within the Congress party.

Vijayvargiya emphasized, “Their party’s leader has become redundant, so, in frustration, they say anything.” His remarks underscore the prevailing political dynamics in Madhya Pradesh, where speculation and conjecture abound amid shifting allegiances and power dynamics.

As the political landscape continues to evolve, the fate of Kamal Nath remains uncertain, with the BJP signaling its disinterest in embracing the veteran Congress leader, leaving the door shut for potential collaboration.
