A tragic incident unfolded at a Burger King outlet in west Delhi’s Rajouri Garden as a man was shot dead last night in a brazen attack that shocked residents and authorities alike. Witnesses recounted that three shooters, including a woman who reportedly met the victim before the murder and then fled the scene, carried out the deadly assault.
According to eyewitness reports provided to the police, the assailants, armed with firearms, entered the fast-food restaurant around 9:45 pm and unleashed a barrage of at least 15 shots at the victim. The attackers swiftly escaped on two-wheelers, leaving behind a scene of chaos and terror.
The victim, identified as Aman by police sources, sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was rushed to a nearby hospital, where medical professionals pronounced him dead. Investigators discovered that the victim’s mobile phone and identification documents were missing, with only a bus ticket and a phone charger found in his pockets.
Police sources revealed that the murder was linked to gang rivalry, and Aman had been lured to the Burger King outlet under false pretenses, falling into a trap orchestrated by his adversaries.
CCTV footage from the scene captured the chilling sequence of events, showing Aman entering the restaurant and joining a woman at a table. Moments later, the armed assailants stormed in and opened fire, causing chaos and panic among customers and staff. The woman, believed to have connections to criminal activities based on police sources, vanished after the shooting, allegedly taking Aman’s phone and wallet with her.
“We received a distress call from Rajouri Garden around 9:45 pm, prompting a rapid response from our officers. Special investigative teams have been deployed to identify and apprehend the three shooters,” stated senior police officer Vichitra Veer, highlighting the urgent efforts underway to bring the perpetrators to justice.
