“PM Modi’s Bold Challenge: Restore Article 370, J&K Statehood in Focus”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi Challenges Opposition on Article 370 Restoration, Vows Statehood for J&K Soon

In a recent election rally in Udhampur, Prime Minister Narendra Modi dared the Opposition to restore Article 370, asserting that his government had not only abrogated the provision but also buried its remnants “deep in the ground.” Addressing the gathering to seek support for Union Minister Jitendra Singh and Jugal Kishore, PM Modi highlighted the significant improvements in Jammu and Kashmir post the abrogation of Article 370 in 2019.

He emphasized the positive changes in the region, including the absence of issues like terrorism, separatism, stone-pelting, and strikes. PM Modi stated that the improved security situation has led to a transformation in the lives of people, particularly in Kashmir, where elections are now held without fear and normalcy prevails.

PM Modi also spoke about the commitment of his government to restore statehood to Jammu and Kashmir. He assured the audience that assembly elections would soon take place in the region, allowing people to engage with their elected representatives and share their aspirations.

While addressing the opposition’s stance on Article 370, PM Modi criticized parties like the National Conference and the Peoples Democratic Party for advocating its restoration. He highlighted the benefits brought about by the abrogation, citing improvements in the lives of various communities in J&K.

The Prime Minister’s remarks come amidst ongoing discussions and differing opinions regarding the status of Article 370 and the restoration of statehood to Jammu and Kashmir. As political narratives continue to evolve, PM Modi’s statements underscore the government’s stance and vision for the region’s future.
