Simran Singh, a well-known Instagram influencer and freelance radio jockey (RJ) from Jammu and Kashmir, has died by suicide in her rented apartment in Gurugram’s Sector 47. The 25-year-old influencer, popularly known as RJ Simran, had amassed nearly seven lakh followers on Instagram and was adored by her fans for her engaging reels and charismatic personality.
The tragic incident came to light when a friend staying with her alerted the police. Simran was rushed to a hospital, where doctors declared her dead. Authorities reported no suicide note was found at the scene.
Simran’s last Instagram post was a reel shared on December 13, just days before her death.
Her family revealed that Simran had been upset for some time, which they believe could have contributed to her decision. They emphasized that she did not hold anyone responsible for her actions.
The police have handed over her body to the family after completing formalities. As of now, no complaint has been filed by the family.
Simran’s death has left her fans and followers in shock, with many taking to social media to express their grief and pay tributes to the late influencer.
