In a tragic incident in Eluru town, Andhra Pradesh, a man lost his life after the firecrackers he was transporting on a two-wheeler exploded. The accident occurred on Thursday while the rider, identified as Sudhakar, and a pillion passenger were carrying a bag filled with firecrackers, including “onion bombs,” intended for Diwali celebrations.
According to senior police officials, the explosion happened when the bag fell off the bike after hitting a pothole near a local temple. The impact of the blast was so severe that it resulted in the rider’s dismemberment, with his legs and other body parts affected. The pillion rider, along with two pedestrians who were nearby, sustained injuries and were promptly taken to a hospital for treatment.
