A devastating road accident on the Hyderabad-Vijayawada highway in Telangana resulted in the loss of six lives, including that of a young girl, as their car collided with a stationary truck undergoing repairs. The incident occurred near Kodada town in the district, approximately 180 kilometers from the state capital, Hyderabad.
According to police reports, the car, carrying a total of ten passengers, met with the fatal collision in the early hours of Thursday. The impact of the collision was severe, leading to the tragic deaths of six individuals. Among the deceased was a girl child, adding to the heart-wrenching toll of the accident.
Kodada DSP Sridhar Reddy confirmed that the car collided with the truck, which was parked on the roadside for repairs, resulting in the catastrophic outcome. The collision not only claimed lives but also left four passengers with minor injuries, who were promptly transported to a government hospital for medical care.
