During a public rally in Pali, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a significant announcement, promising a thorough review of petrol and diesel prices in Rajasthan should the BJP triumph in the forthcoming state elections. Addressing the gathering, Modi highlighted the disparities in fuel costs between Rajasthan and its BJP-ruled neighboring states, citing a stark contrast in prices.
Asserting that petrol prices in Rajasthan are notably higher compared to those in adjacent BJP-governed regions, Modi expressed his commitment to alleviating the financial burden on the common populace. He assured, “After the formation of a BJP government, we will reevaluate the prices of petrol and diesel, aiming to ease the strain on the poor and middle-class citizens.”
Moreover, Modi didn’t shy away from criticizing the Congress government in Rajasthan, pointing to the escalating cases of crimes against women in the state. He accused the grand old party of neglecting the safety and security of women, positioning Rajasthan at the unfortunate apex of such incidents. Modi sharply criticized the Chief Minister’s dismissal of women’s complaints, condemning it as an affront to their dignity.
Highlighting the BJP’s governance strategies, Modi emphasized the efficient execution of central government schemes under BJP-administered states. He accentuated the additional benefits provided to citizens in BJP-governed regions, exemplifying the augmentation of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme.
“In BJP-ruled states, the implementation of central government schemes is expedited, and often, extra benefits are extended to citizens,” affirmed Modi. He underscored the commitment of BJP-led governments to supplement central schemes, highlighting the initiative in several BJP-governed states to supplement the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme with an additional ₹6,000.
