Delhi's 'Spiderman' Couple Arrested for Reckless Bike Stunts Following Viral Video

Delhi’s social media sensation, a young couple known as the ‘Spiderman’ and ‘Spiderwoman’ duo, has made headlines after being arrested for performing dangerous motorcycle stunts in Najafgarh. Aditya, 20, and Anjali, 19, gained fame for their Instagram accounts dedicated to the iconic superhero characters.

The arrest came after a viral video surfaced on Instagram, showcasing the couple riding a Pulsar bike in Spiderman costumes without helmets or a visible number plate. The video, titled “Spiderman in Najafgarh,” garnered over 9.6 lakh views and 77,000 likes, drawing attention to their risky stunts and disregard for traffic regulations.

Authorities charged the couple with multiple offenses under the Motor Vehicle Act, including riding without a helmet, license, mirrors, and displaying an obscured number plate. Despite their masked identities in body-con outfits, their actions raised concerns about road safety and responsible driving.

Aditya, known as “your friendly neighbourhood Indian spidey” on Instagram, boasts over 9,000 followers, with several videos showcasing his stunts and daily activities. Anjali, under the handle “spideygwen_official,” portrays herself as “your one and only Spider Gwen,” paying homage to the beloved Spiderman comic series character Gwen Stacy.

The ‘Spiderman’ couple recently attended the WaConne Anifest in Delhi, receiving cheers from the crowd as they embraced their superhero personas on stage. However, their fame took a legal turn as authorities cracked down on their dangerous antics, emphasizing the importance of road safety and compliance with traffic laws.
