Digital Evidence Deletion Raises Concerns in Delhi Scandal: Atishi's Ongoing Allegations

Delhi Vigilance Minister Atishi has intensified allegations against Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar, claiming the deletion of crucial ‘digital evidence’ related to the scandal involving Kumar’s son’s company, MetaMix, and the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS). The revelation comes just a day after Atishi raised serious accusations against Kumar, alleging unfair benefits to his son in securing a tender from the Delhi government.

Atishi submitted an additional report to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, expressing concerns about the destruction of digital evidence. The report, a supplementary document to the previous allegations, provides various details on the accusations against Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar.

The Delhi government had alleged that MetaMix, owned by Kumar’s son Karan Chauhan, received a contract from ILBS Hospital for creating an AI software without following proper tender procedures, resulting in significant profits. However, ILBS denied any association with Karan Chauhan and emphasized that he is not a signatory to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

In the latest report, Atishi questions ILBS’s clarification issued on Friday, challenging its denial of the allegations. She also alleges that ‘digital evidence’ related to the collaboration between MetaMix and ILBS is being systematically deleted from various social media platforms.

“Atishi said in the additional report, ‘Within 24 hours of the Metamix-ILBS investigation report, Multiple web posts and links related to Karan Chauhan (Chief Secy Naresh Kumar’s son), MetaMix, and the partnership between ILBS-MetaMix are being deleted in a bid to destroy evidence and suppress the facts,'” the report stated.

The report highlights specific instances of deleted content, including the official LinkedIn profile of MetaMix and a Twitter/X profile of ILBS Hospital, suggesting a deliberate attempt to erase traces of the alleged collaboration.

Atishi asserts, “ILBS statement does not deny indisputable facts that have resulted in huge financial and reputational gains to MetaMix.”

As the scandal unfolds, MetaMix Technologies Pvt. Ltd. released a statement, denying any stakeholder or employee named ‘Karan Chauhan.’ The situation raises concerns about potential evidence tampering, prompting further scrutiny into the unfolding controversy.
