    PM Modi Envisions 'Viksit' India by 2047, Flags Development Resolves in Varanasi

    Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in Varanasi, articulated a bold vision for India’s future, asserting that collective determination among 140 crore citizens could propel the nation into a ‘Viksit’ (developed) status by 2047.

    Addressing the Yatra attendees, PM Modi emphasized the necessity for a national commitment to development, paralleling the fervor witnessed during the country’s struggle for independence. He highlighted the importance of efficient government schemes reaching people seamlessly, citing the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana’s impact in providing permanent housing for four crore families.

    “Government schemes should reach people without delay,” PM Modi reiterated, urging a proactive approach from the government itself. He commended the dedication of individuals involved in governance, politics, and social initiatives, emphasizing their crucial role in ensuring the success of the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra.

    As the Member of Parliament from Varanasi, PM Modi acknowledged his responsibility in contributing to the program’s success, underscoring the collective efforts needed for India’s advancement.

    During his visit to Varanasi, PM Modi embarked on a roadshow and is set to inaugurate projects totaling over ₹19,000 crore for Varanasi and Purvanchal. He also unveiled plans for the launch of Kashi Tamil Sangamam 2.0 from Namo Ghat, a significant cultural exchange initiative spanning December 17-31. The event will witness the participation of 1,400 dignitaries from Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, fostering cultural ties between the regions.

    The Kashi Tamil Sangamam aims to exhibit the diverse cultural heritage of both Tamil Nadu and Kashi, featuring an exhibition showcasing art, music, handlooms, handicrafts, cuisine, and various distinctive products from these regions.

    PM Modi’s visit encompasses not only the articulation of development objectives but also signifies an embrace of cultural exchange and collaboration, underscoring the broader vision for a prosperous, culturally enriched, and developed India by 2047.
