“YouTuber Elvish Yadav Summoned by Police Over Assault on Content Creator”

YouTuber Elvish Yadav Summoned by Gurugram Police for Assaulting Fellow Content Creator

Gurugram Police has issued a notice to Elvish Yadav, winner of Bigg Boss OTT 2, summoning him for questioning in connection with the assault of fellow YouTuber Sagar Thakur, known as Maxtern. The incident, captured in a viral video, has sparked controversy and legal action.

In the video, Yadav can be seen physically assaulting Thakur at a garments shop, reportedly stemming from a social media feud between the two content creators. Thakur alleges that Yadav attempted to break his spine during the altercation.

Responding to the allegations, Yadav defended his actions in an Instagram video titled “first plan and play victim,” claiming that Thakur had threatened him and his family with violence. He stated that Thakur leaked their private conversations and made derogatory remarks against his family, leading to the confrontation at the garments shop.

Yadav admitted to threatening Thakur but asserted that it was in the “heat of the moment” and provoked by comments against his family. He also accused Thakur of orchestrating the situation and claimed that cameras were hidden to capture the altercation.

This incident adds to Yadav’s existing legal troubles, as he is already embroiled in the snake venom-rave party case, where he faces allegations related to the supply and use of snake venom.

The viral video and subsequent police notice have drawn attention to the responsibility of social media influencers and the consequences of online conflicts escalating into real-world violence. As the investigation unfolds, stakeholders await further developments in the case.
