    A Bengaluru man’s eagerly awaited moment of purchasing a Tata Nexon turned into a nightmare when he discovered alleged defects in the vehicle delivered by the showroom. Sharath Kumar T took to Instagram to express his dismay, claiming that the dealership, Prerana Motors in Yelahanka, registered the car in his name without conducting vital pre-delivery inspections (PDI) or quality control (QC).

    In a detailed video shared on Instagram, Sharath Kumar T lamented the ordeal, highlighting various issues plaguing his new Nexon. He asserted that the dealer failed to ensure the vehicle’s quality, displaying water accumulation in the headlights, scratches on the front bumper, quarter panel, and tailgate frame, along with instances of shoddy welding and improperly fitted door rubber beading.

    Expressing frustration, Sharath Kumar T accused both Prerana Motors and Tata Motors of not addressing the issue satisfactorily. He conveyed that their proposed solution involved repairing the vehicle and providing a two-year extended warranty, an offer he deemed unacceptable given the situation.

    Tata Nexon responded to the video, offering an apology for the inconvenience caused. However, Sharath Kumar T expressed dissatisfaction with the resolution, indicating his intent to escalate the matter legally, stating, “We will rather meet in court soon.”
