“PM Modi Instructs Ministers to Draft Roadmap for Incoming Government”

PM Modi Tasks Ministers With Roadmap for New Government's First 100 Days

In preparation for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has instructed his ministers to outline a roadmap for the first 100 days and the next five years of a potential new government. This directive comes as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) aims for a third consecutive term in power following the recent announcement of election dates by the Election Commission.

During a cabinet meeting this morning, PM Modi urged ministers to engage with secretaries and officials from their respective departments to deliberate on the agenda. The BJP, optimistic about securing another term, has set ambitious goals, including propelling India to become the world’s third-largest economy by bolstering the manufacturing sector, enhancing control over supply chains, and fostering job creation.

PM Modi has expressed confidence in India’s trajectory, envisioning the country’s ascent from the fifth-largest to the third-largest economy during the NDA’s third term. He has also emphasized the potential for increased representation and empowerment of women during this period.

In tandem with these discussions, the Cabinet has initiated the process of formalizing the parliamentary election schedule. The Election Commission’s recommendations have been forwarded to President Droupadi Murmu, with the first notification set for March 20, marking the beginning of the nomination process for the first phase of polls on April 19 across 102 constituencies.

The BJP remains optimistic about the electoral outcome, with PM Modi predicting a significant victory with his party securing 370 seats and the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) attaining 400 seats. As preparations intensify, the government is focused on charting a comprehensive roadmap to address key priorities and challenges in the coming term.
