A fire broke out at a cinema hall inside Select City Mall in Delhi on Wednesday during the screening of the movie Chhava, causing panic among cinemagoers.
According to officials, the incident occurred at PVR Cinemas during the 4:15 pm show when a corner of the movie screen caught fire. Witnesses reported that as soon as the fire alarms began ringing, moviegoers rushed towards the exit doors in a state of panic. Fortunately, the cinema hall was evacuated in time, and no casualties were reported.
An official from the Delhi Fire Services (DFS) confirmed that they received a call about the fire at 5:42 pm. Fire tenders were immediately dispatched to the location to bring the situation under control.
