    Truck Collision Causes Traffic Disruption Near Pune's Navale Bridge; No Injuries Reported

    A collision involving a truck and multiple vehicles near Navale Bridge on the Pune-Mumbai Expressway resulted in significant traffic disruption, although fortunately, no casualties were reported. The incident, which occurred on Saturday morning around 11 am, involved a truck colliding with several cars, tempos, and a bus, causing damage to multiple vehicles.

    According to police reports, the truck, traveling from Satara towards Mumbai, lost control near Navale Bridge, initiating a chain reaction of collisions with other vehicles. While the accident caused severe damage to six cars, two tempos, and a bus, there were no reported injuries among the occupants of the vehicles involved.

    Following the collision, the truck driver fled the scene, prompting police to seize the vehicle. Prompt response from the Sinhagad Road traffic department and local police authorities ensured efficient management of the situation.

    Despite the absence of injuries, the accident led to significant traffic congestion in the area, with queues of vehicles forming along the expressway. However, police officials and traffic police quickly cleared the affected vehicles using cranes, minimizing the disruption to traffic flow.

    Injured individuals were promptly transported to a nearby private hospital for medical treatment, underscoring the swift response and effective coordination of emergency services.

    The incident near Navale Bridge serves as a reminder of the importance of adhering to road safety regulations and maintaining vigilance while driving, particularly on busy expressways. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision and are urging drivers to exercise caution to prevent similar incidents in the future.
